With eight Grammy nominations as producer and performer, and two WC Handy nominations for best guitarist, he is also renowned for his work with artists like John Lee Hooker and Ramblin’ Jack Elliott. Rogers has also collaborated with musicians such as Shauna Morrison, Norton Buffalo, and The Doors’ Ray Manzarek. He has recorded many albums over his career, with his latest titled Into The Wild Blue was released in 2015. As a recording artist, producer and composer, he continues to combine diverse music influences to achieve his musical vision. Always eclectic in approach, he is constantly stretching the boundaries of slide guitar.

Roy Rogers & The Delta Rhythm Kings, will be coming to The Alberta Rose Theatre on Tuesday, June 21 to rock the house with Delta blues and innovative guitar instrumentation. This 8:00 pm showcase is open to all ages, with minors okay when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Tickets are available through albertarosetheatre.com for $24.00 advance, $28.00 day of show.
