The Legendary Buddy Guy To Appear At The Roseland Theater Nov 2

Alongside BB King, Buddy Guy is without doubt one of the most recognized blues artists throughout the world today. Known for his fiery guitar performances, Guy has influenced generations of players including greats like Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Stevie Ray Vaughan. He has worked with legendary bluesmen Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf and Junior Wells and has received an enormous amount of accolades ranging from six Grammy Awards, a massive 49 Blues Music Awards nomination and 34 wins (more than any other artist), inductions into both the Blues and Rock & Roll Hall of Fames, a National Medal of Arts and a Kennedy Center Honors.

Buddy Guy is currently touring in support of his latest release, Rhythm & Blues, an impressive double-CD set. Opening act on his tour is 14-year-old guitar slinger and Buddy Guy prodigy Quinn Sullivan. The tour will make its way to Portland on Saturday, November 2nd for an 8:00 pm show at The Roseland Theater, 8 NW 6th Ave. This is a 21 and over only event.
