Mark Sunday, March 3th on your calendars right now so you will not miss the six hour Multiple Sclerosis Society of Portland’s Blues for MS III concert at the Aladdin Theater. The fun starts at 3pm and runs until around 9pm.

This year’s event will feature an all-star line-up of some of the finest blues talent in our

Region, appearing in order: Mary Flower, Kevin Selfe & The Tornadoes, Dave’s Killer Band, The Robbie Laws Band, The Terry Robb Band, and The Knuckleheads.

Once again we will have some great silent auction items, plus this year’s guitar raffle is an outstanding: A Martin 000-28 EC (Eric Clapton) acoustic guitar hand signed by Eric and CF Martin IV and valued at almost $4,600. This fine guitar is a copy of the 000-28 Eric played throughout his career, and used in his ‘Unplugged’ album. Between Robbie Laws and Terry Robb’s sets, Justus Reece, the winner of the guitar raffle at the first Blues for MS concert and a student of Terry Robb’s, will perform a short set on the new guitar so we can all hear how wonderful it sounds. Raffle tickets are available for $10 each or 3 for $25. You can purchase tickets anytime by going to www.blues4ms.org.

Remember, all net proceeds from the benefit concert, auction, raffle and donations help fund MSSP’s programs that directly help improve the quality of life of those living with MS, their family members and caregivers. Please give generously.
