July just seems to be packed full of great performances from local and touring acts, but here is a quick look at a few other blues acts hitting the area that you may be interested to checking out.

On Saturday, July 6th, British blues-rocker Sandi Thom will be doing an in-store performance at Music Millennium at 3:00 pm. That same night at the Oregon Zoo, one of the leading influential female pioneers in the blues, rock and folk scene of the 1960s, still going strong today, Alice Stuart will be opening the Huey Lewis & The News. On Monday, July 15th, former Burnside Recording artist, blues and roots musician Clarence Bucaro will be giving an in-store performance at Music Millennium at 6:00 pm. Then on Wednesday, July 17th, Bucaro will be opening for The BoDeans at the Aladdin Theater, 8:00 pm showtime. Also at the Aladdin Theater on Wednesday, July 24th, legendary roots artist Dan Hicks & The Hot Licks will be taking the stage at 8:00 pm.
