Tracey Fordice and the 8-Balls

Hi Everybody! Well, summer is over, but things are still heating up with Tracey Fordice and the 8-Balls! We had a lot of fun all summer long, playing throughout the Portland area and a small tour in Montana that took us to Great Falls, Kalispell, and Whitefish. While we were there we were able to take in some of the majestic scenery of Glacier National Park. If you have never been there, make it a point to visit someday. It’s only a day’s drive away and you will be hard pressed to find a more beautiful and astounding place on earth! Unfortunately, our bass player, Rudi Spain was unable to go, as he was recovering from back surgery all summer. We want to thank the very talented Todd Ommert for filling in and doing a fabulous job. He is now an official 8-Ball in reserve!. Rudi is better now, but he also broke his hand recently, so you can see he is full of surprises! Nevertheless, this time he is able to play during his recovery, and we are having fun working him back into the swing of things. We are looking forward to many new gigs and venues this winter, and we’ll be performing at the 2014 Winter Blues Festival February 22nd and 23rd at the Bobwhite Theatre here in Portland. In addition to all this fun and excitement, we are beginning production on a new CD of original material and hope to have it completed by early spring. It’s gonna be a busy winter and we hope we’ll be seeing you out on the town!

Blues to you,
Tracey Fordice and the 8-Balls
