For the past 25 years, Big Head Todd & The Monsters have built a strong reputation and following with their blues-flavored rock performances and releases. Their latest album, Black Beehive, continues to explore their rootsy blend of blues, folk and rock that has developed their distinguishable unique sound. The new album features noted blues greats saxophonist Eddie Shaw and guitarist Ronnie Baker Brooks (who has often toured with Big Head Todd), as the songs speak of modern social issues and also pay tributes to the passing of artists Amy Winehouse and Hubert Sumlin.
